About KATE
As an experienced teacher I have helped many students to achieve real progress on their academic journey.
I have developed an understanding of some of the difficulties students face and have adapted my teaching to their needs.
In addition I am a professional and have the needs and progress of the student as my priority.

About the lesson

Tutor time would be a minimum of 1 hour duration. The focus of the lesson would be to identify weaknesses which the student would wish to improve upon. Help with assignments/homework tasks, and any other requirements for example reading, writing, listening, and speaking practice. Also practice papers in preparation for examinations.
Students would ideally be Secondary and Post 16 students who are preparing for examinations or preparing to enter University.
I hold a B.Sc in Social Science and a Postgraduate Certificate of Education and have been a qualified teacher for almost 30 years.
