About Vincent
I truly believe that most students don’t struggle because they lack ability; they struggle because they haven’t been taught in a way that makes sense to them. With the right focus, guidance, and encouragement, any student can succeed. I’ve seen how poor teaching or unclear explanations can hold bright minds back. Too many students miss out on the careers and futures they deserve simply because their potential wasn’t recognized or developed early enough. I refuse to let that happen to the students I work with. My ability to help others succeed will not be wasted. Grades can shape the opportunities you have in life, and with the right tutoring, they can become a stepping stone instead of a barrier. My goal is to give you the best possible chance to excel academically and to feel confident in your own ability to learn and grow. Above all, I take pride in watching my students improve, not just in their marks, but in their confidence, curiosity, and sense of achievement. I believe the best learning comes from active engagement and repetition. In my lessons, I focus on mastering one topic at a time - starting with clear explanations of the fundamentals, then reinforcing understanding through guided questions and practice. This approach helps students build true confidence, not just short-term memory.
Most of my lessons are one hour long, which tends to be the most efficient for focus and retention. I also offer two-hour sessions for those wanting extra depth, with a short break to keep energy and concentration high.
As the Academic Prefect at Wentworth College, I’m responsible for scheduling tutors and pairing students - a role that reflects my commitment to punctuality, organisation, and helping others learn effectively.
Having achieved A grades in both Maths and Physics at A-Level*, I specialise in tutoring these subjects at AS and A2 levels. I also have extensive experience tutoring IGCSE students in Maths and Physics, helping them not only improve their marks but truly enjoy the learning process.
