About Emily
Hello, and thank you for considering me as your legal studies tutor. My name is Emily, and I hold an LLB from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, followed by Practical Vocational Training through the School for Legal Practice (LEAD). I currently work as a Legal Adviser in a Bank, where I have four years of post-qualification experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation, litigation, and matters relating to property finance and credit.
This blend of academic training and practical, real-world legal work means I don't just know the law in theory — I understand how it is applied day to day, and I bring that perspective into every lesson.
I have been tutoring part-time since 2022, and it has become one of the most rewarding parts of my professional life. I take genuine pride in helping students build a strong foundation in legal reasoning and grow in confidence.
