About Stephanie
I’m an experienced kindergarten teacher with a passion for helping young children become confident, capable readers.
I work with students in Pre-K through 2nd grade and understand how important strong foundational literacy skills are in the early years. I’m patient, encouraging, and experienced in helping children who may feel frustrated, hesitant, or unsure of themselves when it comes to reading.
As a classroom teacher, I know how to break skills into manageable steps and adjust instruction based on each child’s needs. I enjoy creating a positive learning environment where children feel comfortable taking risks, practicing new skills, and celebrating their progress.
I believe every child can grow as a reader with the right support, encouragement, and instruction.

My lessons are designed to help young children build strong early reading skills while feeling successful and confident.
I specialize in Pre-K through 2nd grade reading support, including letter names and sounds, phonics, blending, decoding, sight words, reading fluency, comprehension, and kindergarten readiness.
Each lesson is personalized to your child’s current skill level and learning needs. I use engaging, age-appropriate activities and lots of encouragement to keep young learners motivated and comfortable.
I can support children who are just beginning to read, need extra practice with foundational skills, or would benefit from additional enrichment and confidence-building.
My goal is to make reading feel manageable, positive, and enjoyable while helping your child make steady progress.
