About Silvia
As a skilled, educated, and enthusiastic individual with experience supporting students outside of the classroom to meet academic challenges, it is my pleasure to offer my experience in tutoring. My passion for helping students to succeed—complemented by my expertise in grammar, writing, and reading comprehension—positions me to make a significant impact as your next Tutor.
Evaluating students’ learning capabilities and needs, helping them through assignments, and suggesting new learning techniques are just a few of the areas in which I excel. Through my experience tutoring students across a range of capacities and skill levels, I have honed my communication, creativity, and motivational skills. In addition, I possess an innate ability to build and sustain excellent relationships with students, fostering an environment of enthusiasm and anticipation toward tutoring sessions.

I retain the formal authority role by showing students what they need to know. My lessons include multimedia presentations, activities, and demonstrations. This style gives me the opportunities to incorporate a variety of formats including lectures and multimedia presentations.
I also promote self-learning and help students develop critical thinking skills and retain knowledge that leads to self-actualisation. This would help students to ask questions and helps develop skills to find answers and solutions through exploration.
In addition, my teaching is done entirely in the target language. The learner is not allowed to use his or her mother tongue. Grammar rules are avoided and there is emphasis on good pronunciation.
Lastly, the focus of my method is to enable the learner to communicate effectively and appropriately in the various situations she/he would be likely to find herself/ himself in. The content of my lessons are functions such as inviting, suggesting, complaining or notions such as the expression of time, quantity, location.
