About Anna

My passion for history was ignited in childhood, sparked by an inspiring secondary school teacher. I pursued my enthusiasm to Masters level at university and have dedicated the past decade to teaching history. My objective is not only to nurture this passion but also to guide my tutees towards the academic success they aspire to achieve.

With qualifications to teach KS3, KS4, and KS5, I specialise in enhancing exam skills, employing diverse methods to instil confidence in my tutees.

Perfect! My first lesson with Anna showed her remarkable skill and understanding of what I am learning for history. We are coming up with a detailed plan on how I can achieve what I aim to, and she thoroughly explains and answers questions to enhance my understanding. The structuring that she showed me for essay writing and how to properly do a plan are conveyed very clearly. I look forward to continuing and improving my standard of work with her.

I have just begun lessons with Anna and she is very thorough and helpful with my understanding of history. We are building a plan to move forward, and she demonstrates a very large wealth of knowledge surrounding the subject, and gives fully informed and clear responses to any questions I have.
I look forward to continuing with her, as she provides such an open environment which is very conducive to learning, whilst also taking the time to make sure I understand and properly plan and deal with information.
I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who needs a helping hand in history.
