About Georgia
I have been tutoring in Maths, English and History in London for the last few years. I am an A* A-Level student about to begin my gap year, and enjoy helping kids reach for those A grades! From helping young ones to pass their Year 6 SATS to pushing GCSE students for their A, I offer engaging lessons in a comfortable environment. It has become clear to me that many students benefit from working with someone of a similar age to them, who has recently been through the exam stress they may be facing, as it allows for a level environment, where they feel comfortable to make mistakes and ask for help!

At the offset of my tutoring lessons, I tend to provide a short test for the child which I work through with them. This allows me some insight into where the child is at and how I might best help them with areas they might be struggling with. I then devise a plan based on this for the following weeks, which I go through with the parents before the following lessons. I've found this to be effective, and have also seen that students seem to be more comfortable working with someone of a similar age to them, such as myself. I do set a small amount of homework each week, but make sure to check in with how much they might be getting from school!

Perfect! My daughter has told me that Georgia is an excellent tutor. It seems fitting that they are the same age, as this appears to make relating seamless. One maths paper down, let's see what the final results will be :)
