I am an experienced High School Math Teacher with a strong background in Mathematics, Engineering, and over 20 years of corporate IT and project management experience. I specialize in teaching Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Quadratic Equations in a simple and student-friendly way.

I teach math in a simple, supportive, and step-by-step way that helps students feel comfortable and confident while learning. My tutoring sessions are designed for middle school and high school students who need help with Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and Trigonometry. I begin each lesson by reviewing important concepts, then guide students through examples and practice problems to strengthen their understanding and problem-solving skills.
I believe every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style based on the student’s pace, strengths, and learning needs. I focus on building confidence, improving grades, and helping students develop independent thinking skills. I also bring more than 20 years of corporate IT and project management experience, which allows me to connect math concepts to real-world careers, technology, and practical applications. My goal is not only to help students succeed in school, but also to show them how math can be useful in everyday life and future careers.
Lesson Title: Solving Quadratic Equations
Grade Level: High School Algebra
Objective:
Students will learn how to solve quadratic equations using factoring and understand how quadratic equations are used in real-life situations.
Lesson Plan:
Begin with a quick review of basic algebra concepts and explain what a quadratic equation looks like (ax² + bx + c = 0).
Demonstrate step-by-step examples of solving quadratic equations by factoring.
Guide students through practice problems together and encourage them to explain their thinking process.
