About Sofiya
Hi! I'm a dedicated clarinet player who performs in both my school's marching band and concert band. Plus, I made all-state, all-district, etc. Playing in these ensembles has helped me develop strong musical skills, teamwork, and a passion for helping others learn.
I enjoy working with beginners and believe learning the clarinet should be fun, encouraging, and stress-free. I understand what it's like to learn a new instrument, so I'm patient and happy to explain concepts in different ways until they make sense.
Whether you're just starting out or want extra help with your playing, my goal is to help you build confidence, improve your technique, and enjoy making music.

My clarinet lessons are designed to be fun, supportive, and tailored to each student's goals and experience level. Whether you're picking up a clarinet for the first time or looking to improve your skills, I'll guide you step by step at a pace that's comfortable for you.
Lessons can cover proper posture, breathing techniques, tone production, fingerings, music reading, rhythm, scales, and beginner to intermediate repertoire. I'll also share practice tips to help you make steady progress between lessons.
My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, enjoy making music, and celebrate their improvement with every lesson.
