About Rebecca
I am a passionate teacher who believes that everyone can succeed in History and RE with the right support. I love my subjects and hope to inspire that love in others. My lessons can last as long as required, but I suggest 1 hour at a time. I use a range of techniques and as a teacher with 8 years' experience as a head of department I am fully qualified to support all learners. My lessons would be suitable for students studying their GCSEs or A-Levels in either History or RE. My specialities are: AQA GCSE History - America 1920-70; Elizabethan England; Cold War; Power and the People AQA GCSE RE - Christianity; Islam; Themes A, B, C, E AQA A-Level History - 1C Tudors Edexcel GCSE History - Nazi Germany; Early Elizabethan England; Cold War; Crime and Punishment OCR A-Level RE - Philosophy or DCT I have a BA in Classical Civilisation from the University of Leeds and an MA in Philosophy of Religion and Applied Ethics. I can adapt my lessons per pupil and as an experienced examiner I can support specifically with how to achieve marks within your exams.
