Are you ready to start your musical journey with the guitar or bass? As a dedicated and experienced tutor, I’m here to help you unlock your potential and make learning an enjoyable experience. With a Level 3 Vocational Qualification in Music Performance and Production and having attended the University of Leeds to study music, I bring both professional training and a passion for teaching. Having played guitar and bass for over 8 years, I understand the challenges beginners face and know how to guide you through them step by step. My lessons are tailored to suit absolute beginners of all ages. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or want to deepen your understanding of music, I provide clear, structured, and supportive guidance. I aim to make each lesson approachable, fun, and rewarding, focusing on essential techniques like chords, rhythm, and scales while helping you explore your favourite songs and styles. Together, we’ll build the skills and confidence you need to express yourself musically.

I specialise in teaching complete beginners, whether you’re a child, teenager, or adult starting out. My goal is to make learning the guitar or bass approachable and enjoyable for anyone wanting to develop their skills. I believe learning music should be fun, engaging, and tailored to the individual. My teaching methodology combines practical playing techniques with an understanding of music theory to build confidence and skill from the ground up. I focus on: Tailored Lessons: Adjusting to each student’s pace and musical interests Creative Expression: Encouraging students to explore their own style and preferences Lesson Structure: Duration: Each lesson lasts approximately 60 minutes, with a mix of hands-on playing, demonstrations, and guided practice. Flexibility: Lessons can be adjusted to shorter or longer durations if needed
