About Arlo
I am an enthusiastic and experienced Guitar tutor with 9 years of professional and teaching experience, working mainly with school and college students. Throughout my career, I have helped many learners overcome challenges such as finger pain, rhythm confusion, and lack of confidence.
Watching them progress steadily and perform complete songs smoothly has been one of my greatest career milestones. I focus on a step-by-step approach that strengthens technical skills including chord accuracy, strumming control, scale fluency, and finger strength. I also emphasise ear training and musical understanding so students can play with feeling and not just technique.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and result-oriented. I ensure that each lesson builds on the previous one so students experience continuous growth. My ultimate goal is to help students build strong musical foundations and develop a deep appreciation for the art of guitar playing.

My Guitar teaching style balances structured learning with artistic freedom using Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I believe that students learn best when they feel supported and motivated. I set achievable goals and track progress regularly to maintain enthusiasm.
Communication is friendly, respectful, and patient, allowing students to feel comfortable during lessons. I clearly explain chord progressions, scale patterns, rhythm control, and strumming variations in easy steps. Integrity means focusing strongly on correct technique, steady timing, and consistent practice habits.
I guide students with dedication and help them build discipline in their musical journey. Creativity plays an important role in my classes through improvisation, experimenting with tone, and creating original chord patterns. In addition to Guitar, I teach theory basics and performance preparation skills.
