About Hendrix
Learning guitar is an exciting journey of creativity, expression, and skill development. With Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, I guide students to explore their musical potential while building strong technical foundations. Lessons begin with posture, finger placement, chord transitions, rhythm, strumming, and tone, progressing to improvisation, phrasing, and composition. Music theory is introduced through practical examples, making it accessible and relevant. Each session is customised to the student’s pace, goals, and interests, creating an inspiring and supportive environment. I emphasise technical mastery alongside expressive playing, helping students communicate emotion and artistry. Ear training, sight-reading, and performance practice are key components of my curriculum. Students explore multiple genres, including classical, jazz, rock, blues, and pop, to broaden their musical understanding. I provide structured practice routines, feedback, and guidance for overcoming challenges while maintaining motivation. Milestones are celebrated to reinforce achievement and confidence. I encourage improvisation, composition, and personal interpretation to help students develop their unique musical voice. Lessons balance discipline, creativity, and fun, keeping the learning experience engaging. Over time, students grow into confident, expressive, and versatile musicians. Teaching guitar is not just instruction—it is mentorship, inspiration, and shared artistic discovery. My ultimate goal is to help students play with confidence, emotion, and authenticity. Every lesson is an opportunity to nurture creativity, growth, and lifelong passion for music.

Music has always been more than a career for me—it’s a lifelong passion and a form of expression that I love sharing with others. With both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Music, I’ve spent years studying, performing, and teaching the guitar. My experience ranges from one-on-one tutoring to leading group workshops for students of all ages. I specialise in helping learners understand not just how to play but how to feel the music they create. I focus on clarity, patience, and encouragement in every lesson, creating a supportive environment for growth. My teaching method blends technique, creativity, and theory seamlessly. I aim to make learning efficient yet enjoyable, using songs that students connect with emotionally. Over the years, I’ve helped many students gain confidence, perform publicly, and even compose their own music. I tailor each session to fit individual learning goals and personalities. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or refining advanced skills, I’m here to guide your journey. I believe that every student has unique musical potential waiting to be unlocked. My greatest joy as a tutor is seeing that spark of discovery when music finally clicks.
