About AKASH
Hello, I’m a verbal trainer specializing in preparation for internationally recognized exams such as the Graduate Record Examination, Graduate Management Admission Test, Scholastic Assessment Test, and International English Language Testing System.
Over the years, I have worked extensively with students aiming to pursue higher education abroad, helping them develop the analytical and language skills required for these competitive examinations. I have taught both in India and internationally, and I have also worked with well-known coaching organizations such as Jamboree Education, where I trained students in verbal reasoning, reading comprehension, and vocabulary development.
My focus as a teacher is not only to help students solve questions correctly but also to help them understand how these exams test reasoning, logic, and interpretation of complex texts. I aim to simplify challenging concepts and give students practical frameworks that improve both accuracy and confidence during the exam.
Students often appreciate my clear explanations, structured approach to problem-solving, and the supportive learning environment I try to create in every session. My teaching approach focuses on developing strong analytical and language skills that help students perform confidently in exams like the Graduate Record Examination, Graduate Management Admission Test, Scholastic Assessment Test, and International English Language Testing System.
Rather than relying only on memorization, I emphasize understanding the logic behind questions, especially in areas such as Critical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and Vocabulary building. My goal is to train students to think analytically so they can approach unfamiliar questions with confidence.
A typical class usually begins with a short diagnostic discussion to understand the student’s strengths and weaknesses. We then work through carefully selected practice questions where I explain step-by-step reasoning techniques, question patterns, and common traps used in standardized tests. Each session ends with targeted exercises and strategies that students can practice independently.
One of my distinguishing features as a teacher is my focus on breaking complex passages and arguments into clear logical structures, which helps students significantly improve their accuracy and speed. Over time, students learn not only how to solve questions but also how to analyze arguments and interpret complex texts effectively.
My classes are intended primarily for college students and working professionals preparing for international standardized exams, as well as students planning to apply for undergraduate or graduate programs abroad. I also welcome adult learners who wish to strengthen their academic English and analytical reading skills.
