About Muge

BSc Marketing with minors in Economics and Entrepreneurship. Graduate of a TOP 10 UK University.

I've been tutoring a mix of GCSE, A-Level, and undergraduate students for over 7 years, each going onto achieve their target grades and beyond. A track record of grades A*-B.

My teaching style reflects on the World-class teaching I have received from experts in the field of Economics.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is simple, fun and effective. Before the lessons commence, I plan the syllabus ahead, structuring each lesson's objectives, notes, and helpful resources. During the first lesson, my objective is to get to know the learning style of my client and provide a short introduction about myself. Once, I build a friendly rapport with my client, we begin to look at the content of future lessons and go through my expectations.

My approach to teaching is therefore balanced between flexible and structured. This reflects on the years of experience I have gained in being a student and a tutor. After the introduction part of the lesson has finished, we begin by achieving the lesson objectives by going through short bursts of content followed by the use of 'active recall' techniques to test knowledge on a frequent basis. I have perfected this technique to gain maximum results and find that this technique really engages the students and allows them to grasp difficult theories by generating links.

Homework is set 5 minutes before each lesson ends and is required to be completed by each client before the next session. Clients are able to contact me between lessons for any subsequent queries about the task and guidance.

Perfect! My Son has only had a couple of lessons with Muge so far, but she is proving to be an excellent Tutor. She has taken the time to establish which area's he needs to cover, and sets him practice papers to make sure he understands what she has taught him. Going forwards I have confidence in her helping him with his exams in June. She is organised and arranges lessons promptly to fit in with you. Would highly recommend Muge if you are looking for a tutor!!
