About Ella
I am currently a sixth form student studying English Literature, Philosophy and Geography, with a strong passion for literature and critical analysis. I achieved 159/160 in GCSE English Literature, studying Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls and the Power and Conflict poetry anthology. Alongside tutoring, I continue to develop my own literary interests through wider reading; I am currently reading The Picture of Dorian Gray, and my favourite novel is Animal Farm. My enthusiasm for English allows me to create engaging lessons that help students build both practical skill and confidence.

I offer friendly and supportive GCSE English Literature tutoring tailored to students of all ability levels. My lessons focus on building confidence in essay writing, analysing quotes effectively, and developing a strong understanding of the assessment objectives. I also help students improve their independent revision techniques so they feel more prepared and organised outside of lessons. I already have experience delivering both weekly 1-1 tutoring and group sessions which gives me the skills to adapt my teaching style to different students and learning needs.
