About William
I am presently a Physics teacher at an international school, teaching both GCSE and A level Physics, so I am very familiar with the syllabus, and understand the challenges and difficulties associated with each topic. I'm bilingual, and can speak Chinese to high level, including an in depth knowledge of physics vocabulary. Many of my students have gone on to study at the UK's top universities including Imperial College London, LSE, Durham, Bristol and so on.
I completed my bachelor degree in 2004, at the University of Glamorgan in South Wales before completing a diploma in mandarin at Beijing Union University. I also hold a diploma in Physics through UK’s Open University and have completed a CELTA certificate, as will as CIE teacher training modules in IGCSE Physics and A level Physics.
I have previously worked in international trade in London, New York, Dubai, Beijing and Singapore, before continuing my teaching career, where I have in excess of ten years experience. Outside school, I enjoy watching football and rugby, following politics, practicing Chinese and keeping fit.

As a high school physics teacher, my classes will be tailored according to the particular syllabus which you are studying. We can discuss each point on the syllabus to make sure you understand exactly what is required of you, use textbooks, diagrams and videos to develop your knowledge and answer past paper exam questions to make sure we can apply the knowledge we have learnt to the standard required. We will also broaden our understanding beyond the syllabus and glimpse why the subject has captured the imagination of histories greatest intellects, including Einstein and Newton.
