About Francesca
I am from a family of four in Halesowen. I grew up with an older sister, who was hearing impaired from the age of three; she wears a cochlear implant and is now a 30 year old PE teacher.
I am a keen dancer, lover of literature and most of all a lover of learning something new. I approach everything with a positive attitude and take great enjoyment through helping people feel better about themselves.
I studied English Literature at Worcester University whilst I worked part time as a Bridal Sales Consultant. I then went on to intern at the FTSE 250 Recruitment Firm Michael Page before finally graduating and securing a role in a college as a Functional Skills Tutor.
I love my job because it enables me to help those who don’t like English see it from another angle. I am looking to inspire more children and adults, and to help them see that not only can they be good at English but they can enjoy it.

I have an English Literature degree and have a published article about attracting and retaining Millenial talent therefore offer extensive knowledge on CV and Cover Letter writing.
Since graduating I have taught Functional Skills English to 16+ year olds and have experience as a TA for primary aged students.
I approach all lessons with enthusiasm and tailor teaching to fit each person. I believe everybody is clever- they just may not know what it is they are clever at just yet.
