About Porter

I am a dedicated flute tutor who enjoys helping students of all ages develop skill, confidence, and creativity. My teaching combines mentorship, accountability, and critical thinking to guide students effectively. I focus on tone, phrasing, rhythm, and breath control while nurturing expressive musicality. Lessons also include music theory, sight-reading, and ear training to strengthen overall musicianship. Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, composition, and musical storytelling.
