I tailor English lessons for adult learners, focusing on practical skills like conversation and comprehension.
I first want to understand the unique needs of each student.
For English as a Second Language (ESL), I emphasize conversational practice, real-world applications, and cultural nuances. I use tools such as multimedia resources, role-playing scenarios, and personalized exercises to reinforce learning. I also integrate constructive feedback and encourage questions to foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
While I have a typical lesson plan, I tailor it to each person's GOALS.
- Start with a warm-up activity like a fun icebreaker or question
- Introduce the lesson and activity or have interactive practice
- Review and feedback (which I try to include through the time we spend together)
My first question to you will be - What do you want to get out of our time together?
