About Samjo

What establishes me as a legitimate, professional ESL tutor is my combination of qualifications, experience, and a student-centered teaching approach. I hold certifications in ESL instruction and have over 25 years of experience teaching students of all ages, primarily in Japan. My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to individual learning styles and goals. I use real-world materials, focus on clear communication, and adapt to each student’s pace. I’m reliable, culturally sensitive, and committed to helping students build confidence and fluency. I continuously update my methods and tools to stay current, and I take pride in the progress my students make.

About the lesson

I deliver my ESL lessons with a focus on clarity, engagement, and student-centered learning. I use visual aids, real-life examples, and structured activities to support language acquisition. Each lesson begins with a clear objective and includes interactive tasks such as role-plays, discussions, games, and pair work. I scaffold learning by building vocabulary and grammar in context and reinforce concepts through guided practice. I adapt to different learning styles and levels, ensuring students feel confident and supported. Regular feedback, encouragement, and cultural relevance are key components. My goal is to create a safe, dynamic classroom where students enjoy learning English.
