About Leslie
Hello! My name is Leslie, and I am an experienced ESL teacher dedicated to helping students build confidence and succeed in English. I have a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and a master's degree in Nonprofit Management. Having lived in the United States my entire life and coming from a Salvadoran background, I understand the challenges and rewards of learning a second language. As a bilingual English and Spanish speaker, I enjoy working with students from diverse backgrounds and creating a supportive, encouraging learning environment. My goal is to make English practical, engaging, and accessible so that every student feels confident using it in everyday life, at work, or in their community.

I believe the best way to learn English is by using it in real-life situations. My lessons are interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student's goals and learning pace. I taught Basic ESL and Levels 1 and 2 using the Ventures curriculum and created conversation lessons around everyday topics like shopping, job interviews, and daily routines. My classes are perfect for beginner and lower-intermediate students who want to build confidence and improve their everyday English.
