About Vicky
I am a fully qualified Primary School teacher, who has been teaching since 2013 and tutoring since 2014. I have had a variety of different roles in a range of settings, including being part of the senior leadership team and being 'Head of English'.
Whether I work with a class of 30 children or an a 1:1 basis, seeing children have the 'penny drop' moment is why I do this! I am a very enthusiastic, passionate teacher who loves making learning purposeful and exciting, and to always alter teaching to meet the needs of the specific child or children. I am fully aware that what works for one child, might be completely different for another.
I have tutored children from the age of 15 up to aged 14, using a range of resources to engage the learner in Maths, Reading, Writing and Science, however these subjects are not a limitation. I have taught every subject as a Primary School Teacher, so whether it's understanding a text with a five year old, or ordering historical events with a ten year old, I will be there to help!
