About Areej

Hello! My name is Areej, and I am a passionate and qualified tutor with 4 years of teaching experience in English, Math, Science) I hold a Master's Degree in English Literature / BSc in Mathematics and I’ve worked with students from a wide range of levels — from beginners to advanced learners, including exam preparation and academic support. My teaching style is clear, supportive, and adaptable. I take the time to understand each student’s unique needs and learning style, so I can guide them at their own pace. Whether you're looking to build foundational knowledge, improve your grades, or boost your confidence, I’ll work with you step by step to achieve your goals. What sets me apart is my commitment to making learning approachable and enjoyable. I create a positive, respectful environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, take risks, and truly engage with the subject. You can expect professionalism, consistency, and personalized support every step of the way. Let’s make learning a rewarding experience — I look forward to helping you succeed!

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is centered around clarity, engagement, and adaptability. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor each session to suit their individual learning style, pace, and goals.
Teaching Method and Techniques
I use a student-centered, interactive method that focuses on building both confidence and competence. I incorporate a variety of techniques such as:
Active recall and spaced repetition for long-term retention
Real-life applications to make learning practical and relevant
Visual aids, analogies, and storytelling to explain complex concepts
Progress tracking so students can clearly see their improvement over time
I also integrate technology and multimedia to make sessions more dynamic and engaging.
Typical Lesson Plan
A standard lesson includes:
Warm-up or quick review of previous material (5-10 mins)
Clear introduction of new concepts with examples (15-20 mins)
Interactive practice, exercises, or problem-solving (20-25 mins)
Recap and Q&A to solidify understanding (5-10 mins)
Brief homework or self-practice task, if desired
Each session is structured but flexible, and I adjust based on student progress and feedback.
What Sets Me Apart
What makes me different is my ability to simplify complex topics and create a safe, motivating space for learning. I bring not just academic knowledge but real passion for the subject and a deep commitment to student success. I also make learning enjoyable—students leave sessions feeling accomplished, not overwhelmed.
Who the Lessons Are For
My lessons are ideal for:
High school and university students (including IB, A-Level, undergraduate)
Adult learners returning to education or seeking skill development
Students preparing for exams (e.g., IELTS, SAT, specific subject exams)
Learners who may feel anxious or stuck and need patient, personalized guidance
Whether you're struggling with a subject or aiming to get ahead, my tutoring is built around helping you reach your full potential.
