About Millie
I am a VUW student studying law, economics and finance. In High School I received an excellence endorsement in English and overall, and coming top 3 in NCEA. I have some experience with tutoring, having peer tutored in my final 2 years of high school for students struggling with English and Chinese.

The most important part of tutoring is adapting to every student, the lessons should not follow a generic pathway but rather be tailored to what the student is struggling and how they are feeling. Additionally, success comes with enjoyment in the subject, and as such I tailor these lessons to also include the areas of the subject they enjoy, with the areas they are less knowledgeable in incorporated into these activities. It all comes down to what is best for this particular student, and taking the time to be adaptable to them.
