About Clarice
I graduated from McGill University with a Honours degree in Cognitive Science and I have spent the 5 years working as a professional clinical Research Analyst and Coordinator. I have worked as a university tutor for McGill and University of Western Ontario students and all my students finished their courses with an 80% or higher. In the past, I was a peer tutor for students in elementary and high school for three years.
I have extensive experience in:
1) English, including:
- essay writing, editing, and proofreading
- research papers
- grammar, conjugation, vocabulary and literary devices
- CV or resume creation, formatting and editing
- assistance with basic AND advanced components of reading and writing - I will help you build the core skills first then we will expand on them with specific techniques you can use and hone to develop improved reading and writing “habits” that last and improve your English abilities long-term
3) Literature, reading comprehension, and comparative essays (I can make Shakespeare actually make sense! I can help your little one understand grammatical conventions that seem to have no rhyme or reason! I can help your high school student learn to write an essay that will help him grow long-term as a writer and showcase their unique thinking while getting that coveted A!)
4) Elementary and high school level reading, writing, science, geography, and social studies.
