About Roisin
I’m 24 and a newly qualified English teacher with a real passion for language and learning. I’ve always been a reader; the kind of person who had a book nearby at all times. Over the years, I’ve been especially drawn to Irish writers like Sally Rooney and Leontia Flynn. Their work really shaped the way I think about storytelling and inspired me to study English at university and go on to teach. I’m also interested in the arts and have worked with the MAC theatre company as well as taken part in classes at the Lyric Theatre. I try to bring that creative perspective into my teaching, making lessons engaging, thoughtful and personal.

Whether you’re stuck with spelling, trying to build confidence in your writing or need help making sense of Shakespeare, I’ll shape each lesson around what works for you. I have a BA in English and a PGCE in English and Drama with QTS, and I’ve taught students of all ages and abilities. My lessons are clear, encouraging and genuinely helpful. It’s tutoring with a personal touch where your progress always comes first.
