About Divine
Hello, my name is Divine Ogboi
One experience that influenced my perspective on tutoring is my own experience of learning Literature in English. I realized that a subject can seem difficult or boring when it is not explained in a way that connects with the student.
For me, Literature became much easier when I started understanding the stories, characters, themes, and ideas instead of just trying to memorize them. That experience taught me that every student learns differently.
As a tutor, when I meet a student who is struggling to find interest in Literature, I would first try to understand what they find difficult. Then I would break the topic down into simple explanations, relatable examples, and stories that connect with their everyday experiences.
My goal is not just to help a student pass an examination, but to help them understand the subject, become confident, and eventually enjoy learning it.

I make Literature and English simple and easy to understand. I teach poetry, prose, drama, literary criticism, and exam preparation using clear explanations, examples, and practical techniques to help students understand texts and answer questions confidently.
I also help students to have quick understanding too.
