About Kateryna

Hello! My name is Kateryna, and I am a qualified English teacher with over 7 years of international teaching experience. I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching and a 120-hour TESOL certificate, which means I combine strong academic preparation with practical, classroom-tested methods.
I have worked with students of all ages in China, Ireland, and Spain, helping them build solid foundations in English, prepare for Cambridge exams, and gain confidence in speaking, writing, and listening.
My approach is interactive, supportive, and adapted to each student’s learning style — whether you are a child just starting your journey, a teenager preparing for exams, or an adult looking to improve fluency for work and travel!

About the lesson

I believe learning English should be engaging, practical, and adapted to each student’s needs. I use a communicative approach combined with interactive activities such as role-plays, games, and discussions to build confidence in speaking.
I also integrate multimedia tools (songs, videos, stories) and exam strategies when needed. My focus is not only on grammar and vocabulary but also on real-life application — so students can use English naturally in daily life, school, or work.
Typical lesson plan:

Warm-up / Review – quick activity to revise what we learned last time.
New material – introduction of new grammar, vocabulary, or skills using real-life examples.
Practice – interactive exercises, speaking tasks, games, or writing activities.
Feedback & correction – gentle guidance to improve accuracy without breaking confidence.
Wrap-up & homework – short summary of the lesson, plus a small task to reinforce learning.

What sets me apart: 7 years of teaching experience in China, Ireland, and Spain with students of all ages. A Master’s degree in Teaching and TESOL certification. Experience in exam preparation (Cambridge, IELTS) and young learners (starting from 2 years old). A fun, patient, and passionate teaching style that adapts to each student’s personality and goals. Who the lessons are for: Children (5+) – fun and interactive lessons with games and stories. Teenagers – school support, Cambridge exam prep, speaking confidence. Adults – conversational English, grammar brush-up, job interview and presentation skills. Exam candidates – Cambridge preparation with strategies and practice tests.
