About Sophio
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Philology. My professional experience includes conducting English classes, as well as working as a private English tutor in one-on-one settings. I’ve had the opportunity to teach both children and adults, allowing me to develop adaptable communication and teaching strategies tailored to diverse learners. In addition to teaching, I have also worked as a translator and assistant, roles that have greatly enhanced my language proficiency and attention to detail. This blend of teaching and translating experience has equipped me with a comprehensive skill set, enabling me to offer students practical and in-depth language support. My passion for English philology, combined with my diverse experience, allows me to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to succeed.

I believe that learning English should feel practical, supportive, and enjoyable. My method is based on student-centered learning — I adjust my lessons to fit each student’s goals, whether that’s improving speaking confidence, mastering grammar, or preparing for exams.
My typical lesson includes warm-up, core lesson, practice, and wrap-up. What sets me up as a tutor is experience with different ages, levels, from beginners to advanced learners. After each lesson students feel more confident in using English in real life.
