Hello! I’m Shóna, a native English speaker from Ireland and a certified TEFL teacher with a degree in Spanish and Asian Studies. I’m passionate about languages and communication, and I love helping others gain the skills and confidence to express themselves in English. My Approach to Tutoring English I create engaging, supportive, and student-centered lessons that build confidence and fluency in English. I believe language learning should be both practical and enjoyable, so I use a mix of conversation practice, games, real-life scenarios, grammar support, and pronunciation training to suit each learner’s goals. My approach is flexible—some students need structured grammar lessons, while others prefer relaxed, conversational practice. I adapt to your pace and needs, and I always encourage progress with patience and positivity. Lesson Length A typical lesson is 1 hour, but I can adjust depending on your schedule or learning goals. My Experience I'm a TEFL-certified English tutor from Ireland, with a degree in Spanish and Asian Studies. I’ve worked with both children and adults, including absolute beginners and intermediate learners, and I speak multiple languages myself—so I understand the challenges of learning from the student's point of view.
