About Chimmy
I am a passionate English teacher and head of year and I pride myself on having a student centred approach to my teaching. I make sure that my lessons and resources are informative, relevant AND relatable, closing the gap between 19th Century texts and our young people with ease! I know first hand that many students are feeling anxious about their educational future having missed so much in-school learning due to the pandemic but I am here to help rebuild your confidence and close those knowledge chasms!

I am a kind, patient, secondary school English teacher who truly knows the AQA literature and language specifications like the back of my hand! I’ve marked for AQA for 4 years and have worked with students of all levels.
My superpower is being able to teach you exactly what you need to do to get the grades you desire by breaking down the mark scheme and explaining what each level boundary requires.
