About Olivia
Kia ora! I'm a New Zealand English teacher with over nine years of teaching experience and a Master of Education, specializing in grammar and writing. I am passionate about helping students develop confidence in English and achieve their personal and academic goals.
My teaching style is supportive, encouraging, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I believe that learning should be engaging, practical, and enjoyable, and I work to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.
Outside of teaching, I love spending time outdoors and exploring New Zealand's natural environment. I also enjoy learning new things myself, which helps me stay curious, open-minded, and continually growing as both a teacher and a learner.

My teaching approach is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I focus on developing strong grammar foundations, improving writing skills, and building confidence through clear explanations, practical exercises, and constructive feedback. Lessons are designed to be engaging and interactive, allowing students to apply new skills in real-world contexts.
I offer lessons for secondary school students, senior students, university learners, and adult students who wish to improve their English, grammar, academic writing, or written communication skills.
Lessons are typically 45 minutes in length, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. Each lesson is personalised to suit the student's goals, whether they need support with school English, essay writing, grammar, examinations, or professional writing skills.
With a Master of Education and extensive teaching experience, I am committed to helping students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in English.
