About Emily
I have twenty years experience teaching Drama and English Literature and Performing Arts A level, English Literature and Language GCSE, LAMDA and Voice for professionals. I have had 100% pass rate with all my students. I have taught A level, GCSE, LAMDA, Key stage three and coached voice for professionals.
I am passionate about theatre and literature and the wonderful variety of the English Language and I love to impart my passion and knowledge I have accrued over the years. I have also taught ESL and have met people from all over the world and I think that has really enriched me personally but has had a very positive impact on how I teach and understand different students' needs and backgrounds. I have lived in four countries as a teacher and actor and this too has given me great insight into different cultures.

I listen to my students and adapt my lesson approach based on the individual and their needs. The lessons will always be student focused so you can get the most out of the one to one tutorial and allow you to grow in confidence and expertise in your chosen subject or topic. I'll always plan ahead so we both know what will be covered, however I am flexible and if we need to spend longer or shorter on a certain area then we will do so. The most important thing is that you feel you have a firm grasp on the topics we cover so you can feel you are prepared for exams but also I'd like you to be passionate about the work we cover and develop a life long passion that will serve you in life after study.
