About Olivia
I’ve always loved thinking critically about English literature. There’s something special about how a story can open a door into other minds and worlds. A well-crafted narrative arc or complex character not only reflects the human experience but helps young people better understand themselves. It’s a privilege to guide students through that journey. My primary focus is English Literature, where I help students read closely, think independently, and write with confidence, but I’m equally happy to support History students in building strong analytical and essay skills.

I teach 60–90 minute sessions built around discussion, close reading, and guided writing. Each lesson strengthens independent thinking and nurtures the confidence to form and express sharp, original analysis. My strength as a tutor lies in my ability to take complicated concepts and simplify them! I've tutored many family members through their GCSEs and also led many training and onboarding exercises in corporate environments.
