My approach to teaching English is centred on building confidence, critical thinking, and a genuine appreciation for language and literature. With a Master’s degree in Philosophy of English, I bring both academic depth and practical teaching strategies into every lesson. I aim to meet each student where they are, adapting my methods to suit their individual learning style, pace, and goals.
Techniques and Teaching Methodology
I use a student-centred and strengths-based approach that combines structure with creativity. My teaching techniques include:

• Vocabulary expansion and language development
• Essay writing structure and argument-building
• Critical thinking and discussion-based learning

Typical Length of a Lesson
My lessons usually run for 60 minutes, which allows enough time for:
• Warm-up and review

However, I can also offer 45-minute or 90-minute sessions depending on the student’s age, attention span, and learning needs.
