About Ember
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and have spent eleven years teaching students across various levels, blending technical knowledge with mentoring skills. My fascination with engineering began with curiosity about how things work and how systems can be improved, which evolved into a commitment to guiding others to understand, create, and innovate. I approach teaching with adaptability, personalisation, and focus on both theoretical understanding and practical application. I emphasise independent thinking, perseverance, and intellectual curiosity, ensuring that students are not only learning concepts but developing the confidence to apply them creatively and effectively. Outside teaching, I engage in research projects, engineering competitions, and professional development. Engineering is not just a discipline I teach — it is a way to understand and impact the world, and mentoring students to excel in it is both my profession and passion.

Conceptual clarity, hands-on exercises, and structured reasoning are cornerstones of my teaching philosophy, allowing students to develop a deep appreciation for engineering principles. Beginners focus on fundamentals such as statics, basic mechanics, and introductory design principles. Intermediate learners explore dynamics, thermodynamics, material science, and applied mathematics in engineering contexts.
