About Kaya
I am a tutor of 10+ years with a deep love of teaching English-related subjects. Last summer, I graduated from Columbia University's School of Journalism in Publishing and Media Studies. I've also worked as an editor for several years, including for Oxford University Press. From basic spelling and grammar to more complicated topics within literature and essay writing, I believe good tutoring is a fun experience for both of us.
I have many years of tutoring experience in a variety of settings. I was a tutor for my university's Writing Center, supporting students with their diverse array of writing. I also have experience working with middle schoolers, high schoolers, college students, and adults. Presently, I work part time in communications at MIT Media Lab supporting academic writing and research outputs.
