About Diane
I have had my own classroom for 16 years but have been involved in education for almost 30 years. I have gone from day-to-day subbing to being a permanent sub to getting my own classroom. I have built relationships with students 30 years ago that I still talk to this day. I have built a strong trust with my students so they know what the expectations are from the beginning.

My lessons are individualized for each student and what they need. I work at the students pace and move forward when they are ready. I feel that students learn from having hands-on experiences and are able to have visual aids available for learning. I use a lot of anchor charts in my classroom (which are hanging all year) and have students glue smaller versions of the charts in their notebooks for reference.
