About Jonathan
My goal as a teacher is to help every student become confident and successful in their learning. Growing up, I was fortunate to have teachers who inspired and supported me, and that experience led me to pursue teaching myself. I want to give my students the same encouragement and opportunities to grow. I am dedicated to providing extra support when needed, challenging you to reach higher, and celebrating the progress you make along the way.

My lessons are designed to support students who need extra guidance in becoming the best learners they can be across all subjects. Each session is tailored to the student’s needs and learning style, with goals set collaboratively by the tutor, student, and parents/guardians. A typical 30-minute lesson begins with a warm-up activity to review and reinforce concepts from the previous session. From there, we move into core instruction using tools such as manipulatives, grade-level texts, and videos to build understanding, strengthen confidence, and achieve the learning goals.
