About Chi
I’m a caring and patient tutor with experience working with children from diverse backgrounds. As a mother of five, I understand that every child learns differently. I tailor my lessons to each student’s learning style and focus on building both understanding and confidence. Some days, my children’s friends come to me for tutoring when they’re having difficulty understanding their teachers and need extra help…that’s the kind of rapport I try to create with my students. My goal is to make learning feel comfortable, encouraging, and achievable.

As a mother of five children with different unique learning styles, I understand firsthand that every child learns differently. I also have experience working with children from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of academic needs.
I believe tutoring is most effective when lessons are personalized to the individual child. I take the time to understand how your child learns best whether they are a visual, hands-on, auditory, or more structured learner, and tailor my approach accordingly. I also work to align lessons with what your child’s teacher expects, so tutoring reinforces what they are learning in the classroom rather than adding confusion.
My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and making progress at their own pace. I want each student to leave a session not only understanding the material better, but feeling more confident in their ability to learn.
