Hi there! I’m Abby, an experienced and creative ELA tutor currently serving as a Student Success Coach with City Year AmeriCorps. I help middle schoolers strengthen reading and writing skills through patient, personalized, and engaging lessons. My Tutoring Approach As a tutor, I focus on building both academic skills and student confidence. Skill Focus (25-30 min): Main lesson based on ELA standards (e.g., comprehension, grammar, structure) 3. Application (10-15 min): Practice activity or creative writing task 4.
