About Leigh
I am excited to join you on your learning journey. I am an experienced educator with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, and I bring 10 years of teaching experience across kindergarten through fifth grade. Throughout my career, I have worked in fully inclusive classrooms, supporting the diverse needs of students, including those with special needs. Additionally, I hold a master's degree in Educational Administration and Leadership, which enhances my ability to create an effective and supportive learning environment. I look forward to leveraging my expertise to foster academic and personal growth in each of my students.

These lessons will be tailored to meet your individual needs as a learner. During our first session, we will evaluate the areas of growth you'd like to focus on. While the nature of disabilities can vary, they do not need to hinder your learning experience. Together, we will create a structured plan to help you achieve your goals.
I specialize in writing, play-based interventions, and social skills. For language and literacy, we can engage in brainstorming sessions, writing workshops, editing, proofreading, and open dialogue to tackle all assignments together. For social skills, we will work on role-playing, scripts, and understanding emotions through perspective-taking.
