About Erica

Hi! I’m a passionate educator with 9+ years of experience helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I specialize in literacy support, foundational math, and confidence-building strategies that help learners thrive. Throughout my career, I’ve served as a swim instructor, summer camp counselor, middle school health and PE teacher, reading and math summer school teacher, and tutor/interventionist. Currently, I work as an MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) coach, supporting students through targeted, evidence-based interventions. I’m Orton-Gillingham, SIOP, and SIPPS certified, with a strong background in structured literacy instruction. My bachelor’s degree is in Public Health, and my master’s is in Skills-Based Health and Social Emotional Learning—so I know how to meet students where they are and support the whole child. If your child needs support with reading, phonics, comprehension, writing, or foundational math skills, I’d love to help! I create personalized, engaging lessons that build skills and confidence.
