My approach as a tutor is student-centered, supportive, and adaptable. I have several years of experience working with at-risk youth and youth facing mental health challenges, which has taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and individualized learning strategies. I create tailored lesson plans that match each student’s unique learning style, strengths, and goals to help build confidence and long-term success.
My teaching methodology focuses on clear communication, practical learning, and positive reinforcement. I break down difficult concepts into manageable steps, use real-life examples, and encourage active participation to keep students engaged. I also help students develop essential life and employment skills, including basic English equivalencies, resume and cover letter writing, and mock interview preparation.
