I am a certified teacher and writer, and I have worked in education professionally for 20+ years. I've taught grades K-8 in a traditional brick and motor school setting, in private school, as an online writing instructor, and as a tutor outside of school since high school.

I am passionate about learning and offer personalized instruction to every student. My belief is that the one-size-fits-all mentality is where traditional educators fail students. Building a positive and trusting relationship is paramount to motivate a student to work towards his/her full potential. I focus on the whole student and his/her individual needs. I hold a B.A. in Communication Arts and an M.Ed in Elementary Education. I am also a mother, wife, writer, lifelong learner, and bookworm.
