About Pragya
I have always loved music, ever since I was just a little girl and music is something which has always been deeply personal to me and has guided me in hard times. I would so love to spread that light and positivity to other students of all ages. Being even a part of your musical journey is a huge honor to me.
Teaching has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I love helping people discover their abilities, build confidence, and realize that they are capable of more than they thought. Whether it’s guiding someone through their first notes on the violin or helping a singer find their voice, seeing students grow and gain self-belief is incredibly rewarding to me.
My own musical journey has been shaped by (and still is shaped by) teachers who inspire, support, and challenge me in the best ways, and I want to offer that same encouragement to others. I believe that learning should feel positive and motivating, not intimidating, and I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable, respected, and excited to learn.
I teach because I truly do care- about your progress, your experience, your confidence, about you.

I have extensive teaching experience across a variety of areas, including primary school core subjects (Mathematics and English) as well as music- specifically violin and singing. I have participated in numerous violin and vocal competitions and performances and have won several of them.
SINGING
I have completed my Grade 8 Singing exam and enjoy teaching students of any level how to improve their vocal technique, build confidence, and truly shine as performers. I am trained to a high standard in a wide range of styles, including:
- Classical
- Jazz
- Musical Theatre (all sub-genres)
- Pop & Rock
- Country & Hip-Hop
If you have a preferred vocal style, I can tailor our lessons to that. If not, we can explore different genres together and discover which one suits you best.
VIOLIN
In violin, I am a skilled Grade 7 violinist and can teach beginner-level students (up to approximately Grade 4). I focus on helping students build strong technique and apply it confidently in their playing so they can progress smoothly and enjoyably with a strong base.
If you have specific goals- such as preparing for a performance, learning a particular piece, or meeting a deadline, I am more than happy to support you with a structured plan during our lessons.
I am also extremely skilled in music theory, music composition and music notation (reading notes) so if you wish to learn specifically about them, I would be delighted to help!
We will begin with a relaxed taster session where you can get a feel for my teaching style, and I can assess how to tailor my approach to suit your needs.
My lessons are suitable for students of any age (Singing: any level. Violin: up to Grade 4). Sessions typically last 1 hour, but I can make slight adjustments if needed.
