About Krish

recently graduated with a First-Class Honours BSc degree in Biomedical Science, and I am currently doing an MSc in Immunology at Imperial College London. I sat my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Physics in 2019. I have been a tutor for the past 3 years and during this time I’ve tutored over 30 students from KS3 to A-Level in Maths and Science. Most of my students achieve higher than their predicted grades.

About the lesson

Hello – I’m Krish. I recently graduated with a First-Class Honours BSc degree in Biomedical Science, and I am currently doing an MSc in Immunology at Imperial College London. I sat my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Physics in 2019. I have been a tutor for the past 3 years and during this time I’ve tutored over 30 students from KS3 to A-Level in Maths and Science. Most of my students achieve higher than their predicted grades. Additionally, most of my students studying A-Levels achieved an A/A*, with 100% achieving A*-C. Similarly, the majority of my students studying GCSEs achieved a 7-9, with 100% achieving 9-5. As a tutor, my main focus is helping my students develop their understanding as well as their problem-solving skills. An excellent understanding is the principle behind being able to solve problems and problem-solving is a skill that is critical to not only achieve the top grades, but it is also vital outside of academia. Another aim of mine is to also help my students increase their self-confidence, enabling them to perform their best in exam conditions. Additionally, a priority for me as a tutor is to adapt to the ages and abilities of my students - I'm always happy to explain things over, and in different ways, to ensure my students understand a concept. Equally, I understand young people have very busy lives today – and so, the homework I set will be designed to be challenging but not be very time consuming. Why not book a session with me? I only offer online tuition at the moment - this is usually done via Zoom. Please let me know if you wish to cancel at least 24 hours prior to the lesson time as I need to prepare material for the lesson in advance to give you the best learning experience. Refunds will not be given if notice is not given at least 24 hours before lesson time. £16 for KS3 and lower £18 for GCSE £20 for A-Level -£10 for 5+ bookings a week. - £2 per additional student. Please note that payment is done on a lesson-by-lesson basis. You pay after your lesson. Although, if you wish to pay in advance, that is accepted too.
