About Laila
Hello, and welcome!
I am Laila, a professional tutor who is passionate about helping students reach their full potential. I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance, encouragement, and learning approach. I have found that teaching children has been so rewarding for me and most of my happiest moments are seeing my students do well and improve.
My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. Whether you are looking to strengthen your understanding of key concepts, prepare for exams, or build confidence in your abilities, I am here to help you every step of the way.

I really like to have clear communication with the students, if there is something that they are finding difficult at school I always encourage the student to tell me or the parent so we can work on it together. I am always looking for new ways to make learning more fun for students as I know it can get quite boring and tiring, with just a textbook. I have taught children for more than three years and that has included a range of ages. I have taught children from reception all the way up to year 8. I am also a psychology graduate so I know that repetition and recall are very important when teaching a new topic and that's why I would recommend at least a 2-hour session for a student, so we are able to go through homework, any corrections and still have enough time to look into new content. If the session was longer then we would have a mini break so that the student doesn't get too tired.
