I’m a dedicated college student and a passionate, self-taught dancer with years of experience in various styles, especially Bollywood. Having been part of a competitive dance team, I understand the dedication and precision required to master choreography. My love for Hindi songs and Bollywood dance drives me to share my knowledge with others. Through my lessons, I aim to inspire confidence and help students unlock their potential, whether they are beginners or preparing for a performance. As a dance tutor, my approach centers around helping students build a deep connection with the style they’re learning while developing strong foundational skills and confidence in choreography.
Teaching Method and Techniques:
I begin by introducing the dance style, whether it's Bollywood, Hip Hop, or Kuthu, allowing students to understand its roots, expressions, and cultural significance. Once they’re familiar, we dive into basic movements to build coordination and rhythm. Gradually, I introduce beginner-level choreography, followed by intermediate and advanced routines as students progress. My teaching focuses on:
Breaking down complex moves into manageable steps
Musicality and timing to enhance fluidity
Encouraging creativity and personal style
Providing personalized feedback and adjustments
Typical Lesson Plan for learning Dance: (separate for event choreography)
Warm-up (5-10 minutes): Each session starts with a full-body warm-up to prepare muscles and prevent injury.
Introduction to style or revision: I’ll explain or recap the style of dance and demonstrate key movements.
Learning basic steps (10-15 minutes): We work on the foundational moves, focusing on technique and execution.
Choreography practice (15-20 minutes): Students will learn and practice a 15-20 second piece of choreography, adapting based on skill level.
Cool down and note-taking (5 minutes): We finish with stretches and review the choreography learned, writing notes or tips to help reinforce retention.

My experience as both a dancer and a content creator allows me to teach students not just the moves, but how to perform and present themselves with confidence. I emphasize creativity, helping students find their own voice within choreography. Additionally, I tailor lessons to each individual’s learning pace and needs, ensuring they are always improving but never overwhelmed.
